SWALLOW
For the music producer Velikey, a book was created to accompany his music album Swallow.
The book contains over 60 original photographs, story, and a CD on the back cover.
It was nearly a year-long project, preceded by photo shooting and editing, selecting the bookbinding type, and even hands-on bookbinding interventions such as creating labels, CD case and the CD itself. In addition to the book, it also represents the visual identity of the music album as a whole, including visuals for streaming platforms.

No glitch filter or preset was used on the photographs; each image was individually distorted using data bending.
The visual data are deformed based on the musical elements in each track, creating a direct connection between image and sound. The aim of the project was to explore the visual interpretation of music through the medium of a book and to enhance the viewer's experience beyond just listening.
